The Bar Convent in York is a charming guest house that offers great value for a comfortable stay. the single room I stayed in was impeccably clean, with ample tea and coffee supplies. Although the shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained, I appreciated the option to upgrade to a room with a private bathroom. the breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The location of the guest house is convenient, within walking distance to the train station and the city center. the staff were welcoming and accommodating, allowing me to store my luggage before check-in and explore the city. Overall, the Bar Convent offers a comfortable and affordable option for travelers looking to explore the charming city of York. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay.
